2019 MONTANA BREASTFEEDS! Cut-Out Grant - Application opens March 1st, 2019
In honor of World Breastfeeding Week August 1-7, the MSBC will offer a $500 award to a local MT breastfeeding coalitions/ support group for the purpose of breastfeeding awareness & promotion through the completion of a breastfeeding cut-out project. The aim of this award is to promote breastfeeding in Montana though the expansion of the successful ButteBreastfeeds! cut-outs to more Montana communities. No idea where to start? The MSBC will provide the grant recipient a step-by-step support on how to launch your cut-out project.

Montana State Breastfeeding Coalition Supports Access to Education!
The MSBC is proud to provide access to lactation education trainings including our new lc diversity scholarship. Recent scholarship awards include:
- 3 Scholarships awarded to Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) Trainings in 2017;
- 2 Lactation Consultant Diversity Scholarships in 2017;
- 2 Scholarships for 2017 Missoula Breastfeeding Education Conference on Perinatal Mental Health;
- 4 Scholarships for 2017 Breastfeeding Learning Collaborative;
- 1 IBCLE Mentorship Scholarship to sit for 2018 International Board Certified Lactation Consultant Exam.
- 1 Scholarship for Montana Lactation Advocate to attend US Breastfeeding Coalitions Conference.
